Disha Sharma is an Indian cinematographer and producer based in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Trained in cinematography at the prestigious Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute (SRFTI), Kolkata, she is a co-founder of Ekadh Films, a production house working across fiction and non-fiction.
Disha has served as Director of Photography on numerous short films, documentaries, advertisements, and corporate videos . Her work spans commercial and independent filmmaking, collaborating with government departments, public institutions, and private organisations to bring a range of stories to the screen. Working across different production contexts, she brings a strong focus on visual storytelling, using light, composition, camera movement, and colour to establish a film’s visual language.
She served as the director of photography for Nipaniya (Dropless), directed by Anamika Pal. In 2026, the film was the only Indian selection in the International Shorts Competition at the Red Sea International Film Festival in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It has also screened at the Tasveer Film Festival, MAMI Mumbai Film Festival, Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, Bangalore International Short Film Festival, and Mumbai International Film Festival.
