Aryaki

Aryaki is a cinematographer and First Assistant Camera (First AC) based in India, trained in cinematography at MIT School of Film & Theatre, Pune. Her work spans documentary, fiction and commercial productions. As a First AC, she has worked with cinematographers Indraneel Lahari, Ben Bernhard, Aniket Jain and Dipita Sehgal across advertisements and feature films.

Her cinematography credits include Sundarakanda, which premiered at the Pune International Film Festival in 2024, and In Memories, which screened at Alpavirama, IFFB Bhubaneswar and Cut.in at TISS Mumbai. Her documentary Chains and Wheels, a grant-winning project, has screened at festivals across India, including the International Documentary and Short Film Festival of Kerala (IDSFFK). She has also worked on an NFDC-commissioned documentary showcased at IFFI 2024, alongside commercial projects for brands including Jio World Residences and Welspun Flooring.

Aryaki was selected for NFDC’s 100 Creative Minds of Tomorrow at IFFI 2024 and participated in the ISC Mentorship Programme as a mentee of cinematographer Kartik Vijay. She is also a Next Doc Fellow (2026). Alongside her work in cinematography and camera assisting, she continues to develop her independent documentary practice, with family, its complexities and the relationships that shape our lives forming a central theme in her work.
